By placing an order at Delta MedMar, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • You (patient or authorized representative) may not purchase more than 2 and 1/2 ounces (71 Grams) of cannabis flower every 14 days to stay within the permitted possession limits
  • If you are not the patient, you are authorized to pick up on behalf of the patient
  • Medical marijuana products dispensed for a patient as indicated on the pharmacy’s label may not be shared or sold to another person
  • Louisiana medical marijuana products dispensed will not be used in another state
  • Your medical marijuana recommendation was obtained legally (you or your authorized representative) spoke with a medical marijuana provider and have a bona fide patient-provider relationship)
  • You must have an active medical marijuana recommendation by an authorized therapeutic marijuana provider before a product can be dispensed to you
  • You will not drive within 4 hours of a medical cannabis dose
  • You will not operate, navigate, or be in actual physical control of any dangerous device or motor vehicle, aircraft, or motorboat while under the influence of marijuana
  • You will not use medical marijuana products while in a vehicle, even if you are a passenger
  • You will keep your medical marijuana products safely stored and inaccessible to children and pets
  • You will keep your medical marijuana products in the same container/package as dispensed by the pharmacy

Immunity from prosecution.

(1) Any person who is a patient of the state-sponsored medical marijuana program in Louisiana, and possesses medical marijuana in a form permissible under R.S. 40:1046 for a condition enumerated therein, a caregiver as defined in R.S. 15:1503, any person who is a domiciliary parent of a minor child who possesses medical marijuana on behalf of his minor child in a form permissible under R.S. 40:1046 for a condition enumerated therein pursuant to a legitimate medical marijuana prescription or recommendation issued by a licensed health professional authorized by R.S. 40:1046(B) to recommend medical marijuana to patients, or any visiting qualifying patient as defined in R.S. 40:1046.4, shall be exempt from the provisions of this Section. This Paragraph shall not prevent the arrest or prosecution of any person for diversion of marijuana or any of its derivatives or other conduct outside the scope of the state-sponsored medical marijuana program.
